The 417 is a marksman rifle featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. It is available for use by GIGN Recruits and the Operator Twitch.
Overview
The HK417 is essentially a battle rifle variant of the HK416. The HK417 is a battle rifle manufactured by Heckler & Koch that chambers the 7.62x51mm NATO round.[1]
In-game, the 417 combines power and speed with a 10-round magazine plus one in the chamber. It requires at least two to three shots to kill most Operators or a single headshot. The limited magazine capacity does, however, hold this rifle back.
