- "Close to mid-range 9mm submachine gun with high penetration. Favored by Spetsnaz."
— In-game description
The 9×19VSN is a submachine gun featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. It is available for use by Kapkan and Tachanka.
Situations
In the Improvise Defense Situation, the Operator deployed is Kapkan, who is equipped with a 9x19VSN and a PMM as a sidearm.
Overview
The PP-19-01 "Vityaz-SN" is a submachine gun manufactured by Kalashnikov Concern (formerly Izhmash) that chambers the 9×19mm Parabellum round. The weapon is based on the AK-105 rifle platform.
In-game, designated as the 9×19VSN, this submachine gun is not as fast as the MP5, but more damaging regardless whether or not it's equipped with a Suppressor. It can be considered the in-between of the MP5 and the UMP45 in terms of damage, ammo capacity and rate of fire. Though, it lacks a burst fire mode.

Trivia
- The name 9×19VSN is the abbreviation of using the digits from 9×19mm caliber and "Vityaz-SN"
- On the 9×19VSN Industrial skin, small "[--]7" emoticons can be seen printed side of the gun. It is a reference to the community meme of "{-}7", which represents the Operator Tachanka saluting in his helmet.[1]
- The model of the 9×19VSN is heavily outfitted with ZenitCo furniture, including a PT-1 folding stock, B-10 railed handguard, B-12 upper rail, and B-13 railed dovetail optic mount, which is permanently attached even when no optics are equipped for the gun.
