The Beretta ARX200 is a battle rifle variant of the modular ARX160 rifle, which chambers 7.62×51mm NATO rounds. Introduced in 2015, it operates through a short-stroke gas piston system with a rotating bolt, capable of fully automatic and semi-automatic fire.
The ARX200 is featured in several installments in the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Franchise.
Siege[]
- "Heavy hitting .308 NATO assault rifle, both fully automatic or single shot."
— In-game description
The ARX200 is an assault rifle featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege in the Operation Wind Bastion expansion pack. It is available for use by Nomad and Iana. Nomad's ARX200 comes with an irremovable Airjab launcher.
Overview[]
The ARX200 is similar to the Type-89 by the fact that it has a 20-round magazine, although its slower fire rate and higher damage allow it to suit a slower playstyle. The gun has solid damage output and very manageable recoil which allows it to be used at medium to long range. The gun's default iron sights are similar to those on the MP7.
Nomad's Airjab Launcher prevents her from equipping any Grip for the weapon, contrasting Iana's rifle, which can come equipped with a Vertical Grip.
Pros[]
- High damage output
- Low recoil per shot
- Relatively good reload speed
- Tight hipfire spread
Cons[]
- Low magazine capacity
- Lacks grips (Nomad only)
- Slow fire rate
