INDEX Analysis:
At deployment, REACT's field receptors for swarm signals record less available time for a squad in a Sub-Zone. The mutation allows a swarm of Archaean variants to appear earlier than expected.

This is a variation on the ecosystem's immune response and a last resort. (INSERT: Ela - The Parasite is scheduling the chaos ahead of time.)

The Parasite's hypersensitivity to ecosystem intrusions is comparable to parameters observed in Maelstrom Protocol.

EXTRAPOLATIONS:
Theorizing on Ecosystem's adaptive immunity: The Parasite's aggressive response requires higher energy reserves and overall faster biomatter synthesis to form an Archæan swarm even earlier. The Parasite's extended presence in Containment Zones may have allowed for a reserve. (Cross-Ref: energy storage and transfer)

Theorizing on Ecosystem advantage/disadvantage: Stronger immune response to expulse "irritants." Violent response may be harmful to even the Parasite itself, thereby not allowing it to be persistent. (INSERT: Hibana - It's just like throwing up.) (INSERT: Pulse - Yeah, and Maho here knows all about it.)

ENGAGEMENT PROTOCOLS:
Keep an eye on the remaining time in the Sub-Zone. Coordinate efforts to extract or move to the next Sub-Zone before the swarm can attack the squad.
