Dr. Akbar Jahan is a character that appears in the Eagle Watch expansion of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six.
Biography[]
Akbar Jahan was the Professor of East Indian political studies at UCLA from 1992 to the early 2000s. In 1997, he wrote the book, "The Changing Climate of India". Akbar Jahan is also the Director of Research of the International Communication and Policies Center in Los Angeles, California. He served as project coordinator of the Center's East Indian Violence Monitoring Project, and is also the editor of a newly published book on religion and the cultural effects of mass media. Dr. Jahan has lectured in Canada, India, Germany, and throughout the U.S. He regularly consults with governmental leaders throughout the world on political communication issues.
Eagle Watch[]
On March 19, 2001, a radical Indian separatist group "Sikh" seized tourists visiting the Taj Mahal. Dr. Jahan served as an advisor to Rainbow in their operation to rescue the hostages.
