"An iconic encounter for LA SWAT forces, this map depicts an assault on a major bank. The focus is on providing a sense of progression for attackers as they make their way through progressively more fortified areas of the building."
— Ubisoft Description

Overview[]

Bank is located in Los Angeles, California. It features two floors, a basement, and a roof. The bank itself is heavily fortified, meaning attackers will have a difficult time infiltrating it and locating the objective. Defenders, on the other hand, can easily reinforce the small rooms within.

Bank is one of Rainbow Six Siege’s original 10 maps released in 2015.

The Bank is surrounded by three spawn points for the Attackers: Boulevard, Jewelry, and Alley.

The Boulevard is located to the northwest, where Attackers spawn in the street near a small parking garage. From here, attackers can enter the bank through the center-north Main Entrance overlooked by a camera above two police cars, or climb a ladder to the parking garage roof known as simply Parking, giving them clear views of the Lobby. From the Garage Ramp, they can rappel up the side of the bank to the Bank High Roof, or enter the Bank through the Garage. There is also a camera present in the Garage Ramp next to the entrance to the Garage, as well as a Drone Vent in the middle of the ramp leading into 0F Vault Lobby. From here, attackers can enter the 0F Tunnel through an open manhole, or proceed to the Main Entrance. A massive red brick Plaza is at the northeast of the entrance to the building, being overlooked through windows by 2F Exec Hallway, 2F CEO and the Square Stairs interesecting 2F Top Square.

Update[]

Bank received a full art rework in the Crystal Guard expansion, released for owners of the Battle Pass on September 7th, 2021, and worldwide on September 14th, 2021. Bank, Coastline, and Clubhouse were rebuilt from the ground up to enhance balancing, environmental destruction, sound propagation, and lighting, to bring them in-line with the game's current technical standards (see here for more information).

Some of the main changes to Bank are outlined below:

  • Exterior Boulevard vehicles were moved to new locations to prevent runout eliminations.
  • Some exterior Low Roof and High Roof skylights were blocked to prevent unfair firefights.
  • Line of sight into the exterior Back Alley was adjusted to prevent spawn peaks.
  • The exterior Terrace was updated to prevent spawn peaks.
  • Filing cabinets between 1F ATMs and 1F Lobby were removed to prevent easy shots into the interior balcony.
  • All metal bars were removed from B Vault to increase the ease of shooting.
  • A new alleyway named exterior Side Alley now connects exterior Boulevard and Back Alley.
  • The hatch in 1F Lobby now leads to B Vault.
  • The railing in 2F Skylight Stairwell is now destructible.

Additionally, as part of that update,

  • Players can choose whether they want to spawn with other players or spawn alone.
  • This setting is now always active in all playlists, allowing players more agency over their spawn selection and overall strategy.
  • Since the setting is now always active, the option to vote for a single Attacker spawn location has been removed from Custom Game settings.

For a list of bug fixes released with this update, see here.
