Bastian Vanderwall is the main antagonist of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Lockdown. He is the leader of the Global Liberation Front. He was directly responsible for the terrorist attack in Pretoria, South Africa where the nanotech aerosol virus Legion was stolen.
After several GLF cells had been neutralized by Rainbow, Vanderwall was located at a GLF base on the island of Cala Brescana, Menorca. With Rainbow securing the base and preventing his escape, Vanderwaal fled to a nearby castle that was being used to produce the Legion virus. After several fire fights with GLF forces, Vanderwall was located and killed by Domingo Chavez.
