"Canadian assault rifle with both semi-automatic and fully automatic fire modes. Integrated heavy barrel for good recoil control."
— In-game description

The C7E is an assault rifle featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. It was introduced in the Operation Velvet Shell expansion pack and is available for use by the Operator Jackal.[1]

Overview

The C7 is a Canadian cousin of the M16A2, made by Diemaco (later Colt Canada after Colt acquired the company). For the most part, the C7 functions and looks very similarly to it's American counterpart, except that it trades out the M16's 3 burst-fire mode for full-auto.

In-game, the variant designated as the C7E is a weapon of high fire rate, decent damage, and a relatively easy recoil to control, but its magazine capacity of 25+1, damage dropoff and hipfire accuracy leaves something to be desired. A small perk to this weapon is the fast reload times compared to other rifles.

Pros

  • Low recoil
  • High damage output
  • High rate of fire
  • Fast reload time

Cons

  • Harsh damage dropoff
  • Low magazine capacity
