— In-game description
The CAMRS is a marksman rifle featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. It was introduced in the Operation Black Ice expansion pack and is available for use by the Operator Buck. As a weapon exclusive to its Operator, the weapon comes with an irremovable under-barrel shotgun by default.[1]
Overview
The C1A1 is a variant of the L1A1 Self-Loading Rifle, a British Commonwealth derivative of the Belgian FN FAL. The main differences of this variant includes a rotating disc rear sight for 600 yards, a two-piece firing pin, and a shorter receiver cover than other Commonwealth variants to allow for refilling the magazine by charging it with stripper clips.
In-game, designated as the CAMRS (Canadian Army Marksman Rifle System), it is a powerful marksman rifle with a decent magazine size. When using this weapon, equipping an ACOG Sight and Muzzle Brake to the weapon will drastically improve the performance of the weapon, like most weapons that have access to both.
However, it is unable to equip any kind of grip, as it's already taken up by the Underbarrel Shotgun.
