Mercenary Base is the sixteenth and final mission in the PC version of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Lockdown. Its console counterpart is Operation Lockdown.
Description

The base used by the Global Liberation Front is secure but Vanderwaal slipped out. Vanderwaal has been spotted inside a nearby castle. Intel believes Legion is produced within a bio-lab inside this castle. Locate and eliminate Vanderwaal but beware the presence of Legion.
Briefing
Your kept Vanderwaal from getting off the island but he slipped out of the base. As far as we can tell, he's hiding in the nearby castle. Your orders are to storm the castle then locate and neutralize Vanderwaal. Keep in mind that this is where the GLF has been producing the Legion bioweapon that they've been selling to other terror groups. That means that there will be bioweapons on-site so watch it. Chavez, you'll taking Loiselle, Murad, and Price. Rainbow Six out.
