Biography[]
Born as the son of a poor farmer, it is said that he was a prodigy from a young age. He went through the Graduate School of Public Administration at Seoul National University and reached the head of the National Intelligence Service. Even after being commissioned, he is a person with a strong attitude to study and research. He is an expert who has accumulated skills in various fields, such as being the director of the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Security after serving in key positions in the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Army Headquarters. As the head of the National Intelligence Service, he was very interested in organized crime at home and abroad and, despite opposition from within, he gave the International Organized Crime Center, which had no actual investigative authority, orders to investigate. When the kidnapping of a US Colonel occurred, he took command of the situation under the special direction of the president, who was concerned about the deterioration of relations between the two countries. He has a soft and gentle personality, and is trusted and respected even within the NIS for his extraordinary tolerance.
