The M18 Claymore anti-personnel mine consists of a curved rectangular plastic shell with a layer of ¾ of a pound of composition C3 explosive. It has a fragmentation face of rectangular steel fragments designed to blow out in a fan-shaped pattern. Because of the explosive charge, there is a small area of lethality directly behind the mine, as well as the area of devastation in front of the blast.

This is a remotely detonated anti-personnel mine. You can place this device anywhere on the ground and detonate it from anywhere in the map. It functions similarly to a frag grenade, but with the blast only going in the frontal hemisphere (+/- 75 degrees from center). This item can be destroyed.
