Summary[]
Scene 1: Compound[]
18 hours after Bishop was extracted from the Nevada Desert by Gary Kenyon after Nowak's betrayal, disobeying Six's orders (alongside threatening their careers), Bravo Team raids an estate in Costa Rica to hunt down Gabriel Nowak. Bishop and the team fast rope down from the helicopter and begin their raid.
After landing, Jung recommends that they cut the power to deactivate the security systems, and so Bravo makes their way through the outside of the estate, which includes a lot of smaller buildings and open areas where Turrets can fire at you if you are not in appropriate cover. After pushing through the outside the team make their way to the room where the power is. Bishop then instructs Jung to cut the power to the security systems.
After cutting the power the Team goes back on themselves and breaches a door they left untouched the first time, which leads into the next scene, Hacienda.
Scene 2: Hacienda[]
After passing two outfitting stations, the Team will enter the area used in the Terrorist Hunt map Villa.[1] Upon breaching the door, the player will run into bodyguards. After clearing through them, and getting to the second floor, Bravo will push into the main house itself. Michael will usually comment "Wow this thing is huge! Surely Gabriel can't afford something like this!" After entirely clearing the second floor, Nowak will talk to Bishop on the comms and tell them that if they "Drop their weapons" and "come out the front door" that he will let him go. After raiding the next main room, Logan Keller and another squad of Rainbow operatives will drop into the building. Keller informs Bishop that two other Rainbow teams (Charlie, and Delta) have the house surrounded. After moving upstairs, Nowak will once again taunt Bishop. After breaching and clearing the next room, Bishop instructs Michael to disarm a bomb placed on a door, and Jung to hack a computer. While Jung is looking into the computer, and the sensitive information it possesses, he bomb detonates and injures Michael. An ambush then commences, and multiple enemies drop in from fast ropes into the room. After clearing them, Michael and Jung stay behind. Bishop makes their way down a set of stairs, informs Jung and Michael to stay back, and then the next scene begins.
Scene 3: Showdown[]
Bishop exits the door right in front of them, and enter an overlook over a courtyard. Gabriel, in the courtyard, stares the player down with his Glock 18, and tells the player to "See how you deal with this one." the overlook is then blown up by explosives, and an attack helicopter begins to shoot at Bishop. Joanna Torres then comes onto the comms, and tells Bishop that they have a surface-to-air missile battery, however they can't fire it, as they do not known where the helicopter is. The player then has to make the helicopter call for help by shooting at it. During this, ground forces will rush Bishop.
After the second time, the player must run to the shed to take cover. After holding out for around half a minute, the Surface-to-Air Missile will be launched, and the helicopter will crash. A giant hole will be destroyed in the shed, and Bishop meets Nowak to end this once, and for all. Nowak and Bishop begin to talk, and Nowak mentioned how it's the end for Bishop, and how he never thought he could do something like this. Bishop tells Nowak that they can give him help, however Nowak refuses. He tells Bishop that he never needed him to accomplish anything, and how Bishop always looked over him, and how he is "Bishop's fuck-up." Nowak also says that Bishop always tried to control him. He also lists the "Rainbow body count", and lists Sharon (who was shot by a sniper, however rnever declared K.I.A), Kan (who was killed in the first game during Dante's Casino), and Echo Team (who were all blown up by an explosive during Theater). He then says "Who's next? Your dog Logan? I'm better than he ever was an you promoted him! Your friends? Do you even have friends? Oh yeah, I known all about them." He then aims his Glock at Bishops, and prepares to kill him. If the player doesn't shoot instantly, then Bishop will say "Gabe this isn't worth it!" and he will respond "No, you're right. This is." Bishop then kills Gabriel Nowak. Jung and Michael then emerge out of the nearby bushes, and close in on Gabe's body. Keller then talks to Bishop, and Bishop says to him, "Tell Six i'm ready to talk." He then connects to "Ding" Chavez, and Chavez explains to him that his position in the academy is terminated, however it is not a negative thing, as Bishop has now been promoted to Deputy Director of Rainbow. Michael will celebrate. Bishop then tells his team "let's get out of here." and the game then fades to black, and big orange text reads "The End". the background of the menu in the first Vegas will be showcased as the credits roll.
Trivia[]
- ↑ That being said, the staircase in the garage is missing, and is replaced with a long hallway that leads into the area with the pool. Also notable, is that the main staircase that leads onto the second floor is blocked off by a gate. Also, in the second floor, the room to the left of the dining room is missing. Many other smaller changes are present, this is just a list of the major ones.
- Michael's usual weapon is the M249 SPW, and Jung's is the G36C. However, strangely, when they emerge from the bushes at the end of the level, Jung wields a UMP45 Red Dot, and Michael wields a 21E with Red Dot. This was probably done either on accident, or to save time.
- It is possible to shoot at Gabe while on top of the shed, but he cannot be killed.
