Siege Battlepass

The Battle Pass is a monetization model featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. The pass rewards players with cosmetics through tier progression. Each Battle Pass features additional information and lore about Rainbow Operators. A test pass, dubbed the "Mini Battle Pass" was released in the Operation Ember Rise expansion. Following the Operation Shifting Tides expansion, all expansions have featured their own Battle Pass.

Overview[]

The Battle Pass offers exclusive cosmetic items, Alpha Packs, Bravo Packs, currency packs, and boosters. Each Battle Pass offers a different number of tiers and rewards. The Battle Pass originally featured a linear progression system of Free and Premium Tracks. The Free Track was available for all players while the Premium Track cost 1200 R6S-credits-icon. Should a player purchase the Premium track at a later point, all tiers previously unlocked in the Free track would be automatically unlocked in the Premium Track. A Premium Bundle was also available that immediately unlocked 12 tiers alongside the Premium track and cost 2400 R6S-credits-icon. The Season Pass gave players a 30% discount on Premium as well as a 30% boost on the amount of Battle Points earned. Beginning with the Operation Crimson Heist expansion, the new Operator for the season became the reward for the first tier of the Premium track.

The Battle Pass was reworked into to a tile system in the Operation Solar Raid expansion. This organized rewards into map with various tracks that intersect with one another. Rather than unlocking rewards with each Tier, players are awarded with Battle Pass Tokens for every level they obtain in the Battle Pass. These tokens can then be used to unlock any tile on the map, provided the previous tile in its track has been unlocked. Beach Charges can also be used to create shortcuts to other tile tracks to access their rewards. Players can also use tokens to unlock Premium rewards if they have purchased the Premium Pass for 1200 R6S-credits-icon.

Progression[]

  • Match Win - 120 Points
  • Match Loss - 100 points
  • Round Win - 60 Points
  • Community Missions - 850 Points
  • Ranked/Unranked matches - +25% bonus

Mini Battle Pass[]

"You've seen me before. Perhaps in the shadows, observing, watching, recording my thoughts. While Six would take the center stage, I was never far behind, whispering my advice as I calculated and planned Rainbow's every step. Now, as I assume the mantle of Six, I can finally set in motion the strategies I have carefully engineered. I know it will take years to unfold, but no matter, I am playing the long game. I will change Rainbow. Forever. Also, please, just call me Harry."
— Harry Pandey

The Mini Battle Pass, also known as Call Me Harry was released on October 15th, 2019 and concluded on October 23rd, 2019. Serving as a test to the main battle pass, it only had seven tiers. It was available for free to all players.
