Lera "Finka" Melnikova (Belarusian: Лера Мельнікава) is a REACT Operator featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction. She is unlocked by default.
Biography[]
Years with Russian Spetsnaz made Finka an exceptional operator, but it was her medical condition which led to the development of her nanobot-driven adrenalin boost. This technology paired with her abilities led her to be recruited into Rainbow in 2018 during the Outbreak of the Chimera Parasite in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. She was subsequently instrumental in the successful containment of the Parasite. Over the next few years, Finka's background in Microbiology pushed her to the top of the recruit list of the newly formed REACT. Despite opposition from the Russian Government for Spetsnaz operatives to join the unit, Finka and fellow operatives Alexandr "Tachanka" Senaviev and Shuhrat "Fuze" Kessikbayev joined anyway due to the reemergence of the Parasite and the threat it posed to humanity.
Psychological Profile[]
Conducted ground-breaking research into various pathogens and neuropathies, partially in hopes of finding a more effective/permanent treatment for her condition, but also to develop therapies for other disorders. Melnikova recognizes the possibilities offered by the Chimera Parasite.

A Medium Armored Operator, Finka comes equipped with her specially-designed nanobots. Her Adrenal Surge allows affected allies to gain temporary health boost and revives any DBNO teammates while active. Allies that are downed while Adrenal Boost is active will always go into DBNO instead of becoming KOed if this was their second down without something to prevent being KOed. Finka can also self-revive by activating her Adrenal Surge when downed. This makes Finka a highly valued Operator to have on higher difficulties where medkits are scarce and enemies are unforgiving. (It also means she pairs well with carrying a Revive Hypo for solo missions.)
Finka is able to active Adrenal Surge an unlimited number of times with a 90 second cooldown between uses, to start. At Operator level 2, teammates gain more Health Boost and its cooldown time is reduced to 60 seconds. At Operator level 7, teammates within 10 meters gain 3 Health Boost per second, up to a total of 30 HP Boost. This is further increased to 4 Health Boost per second at Operator level 10, up to a total of 40 HP Boost.
Any Health Boost gained from Adrenal Surge disappears completely when it ends. Teammates are immune of getting downed when Finka is activating the Adrenaline Surge.
