- "Spetsnaz 9mm short range semi-automatic pistol, with low recoil and low damage."
— In-game description
The GSh-18 is a handgun featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. It is available for use by all Spetsnaz Operators.
Situations
In the Cold Zero Situation, the character plays as Glaz equipped with his OTs-03 and a GSh-18 as a sidearm. It's equipped with a Suppressor as its sole weapon attachment.
Overview
The GSh-18 is a semi-automatic pistol manufactured by the KBP Instrument Design Bureau that chambers the 9x19mm Parabellum round. The weapon was designed Tula by Gryazev and Shipunov which is also where the weapon's name is derived from. The number 18 denotes the magazine capacity.
In-game, the GSh-18 is like any other handgun of its type. One notable advantage this Spetsnaz-issue handgun has over its PMM counterpart is that it has a higher ammo capacity and reserve ammo. A downside with this gun is its low damage per shot, the second lowest of all handguns compared to the 5.7 USG.
