In 1971, he commissioned as an officer in the Bolivian Army. Afterwards, he quickly rose through the ranks, achieving the rank of Colonel by 1984. Sixto spent the next decade largely abroad, as an advisor, student, or attaché. With the change in the Bolivian Government in 1994, he was promoted to the rank of General. Covert Ops Essentials[]
On January 17th, 2004, Sixto took an unscheduled flight on his private plane towards Columbia with a million dollars in hard currency, his entire household, plus several crates of advanced weaponry. Due to a mechanical problem, however, the aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing in the jungle of Northern Bolivia. While Sixto and his staff survived the landing, they were taken hostage by EGTK insurgents who were camped nearby.
The Bolivian President was aware of what Sixto was transporting and tasked Rainbow with rescuing him. Rainbow was able to successfully do so and then took Sixto into custody for questioning.
