The ITA12S is a shotgun featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, introduced in the Operation Velvet Shell expansion. It is available for use by Mira, Jackal, Frost, Amaru and Ram.

Overview[]

While the ITA12S is statistically more powerful than even the M870, the extremely steep damage drop-off and wide pellet dispersion hinder its damage potential.

It is mostly useful for its destruction capabilities during the preparation phase and the early game, eliminating the need to bring a shotgun as a primary weapon or to waste an explosive gadget. While attacking, it is also useful for destroying barricades and hatches quickly, or to create lines of sight.
