The Keres Legion are a mysterious Private Military Company type Organization with terrorist ties led by former Rainbow Operator Deimos. They have carried out multiple attacks against Rainbow, including the assassination of Masayuki Yahata, the incrimination of Nighthaven for the deed, as well as the assassination of Harry "Six" Pandey, the latter being carried out by Deimos himself personally.

- In Greek mythology, the Keres (/ˈkɪriːz/; Ancient Greek: Κῆρες) were female death-spirits. They were the goddesses who personified violent death and who were drawn to bloody deaths on battlefields.
- This co-relates with Deimos's call-sign, which shares it's name with the greek God of Dread and Terror.
- Their logo is similar to that of the Mercenaries in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Lockdown's PC port.
- They seem to be the next level threat being more organized, more funding and more hardware options than the White Masks during Aurelia Arnot's time as Rainbow's Director.
