Biography[]

Kim Sung-Gun looks fit with a slender height, tanned skin, good in uniform. Born in the military city of Cheorwon, he had to grow up under the Korean Demilitarized Zone. His father was diagnosed with a chronic illness, three years after he was born. He had never been able to play with a poor family, and had to help farming and take care of cattle in his early age. However, due to the nature of the situation, he worked harder and harder, and he had never disrupted his words. He grew up and was well educated, yet he could not afford to leave his family and his mother alone, so he gave up on college and packed up with his family.

Despite his efforts, however, the family situation was getting worse and he had to stop farming and find a job to make money. Because he could not find any job other than farming, he could not easily find an occupation and wandered. One day he saw the recruitment announcement of a specialist sergeant and came to enlist. After spending all his monthly salary for his mother, he spent only five years living with the goods that were being paid by the unit. In the meanwhile, he bought a small house for himself and his mother. He was encouraged to come to the commandos by the officer of the Pusan police commandos who was watching him, and started to live as a police officer. There was a good reason for the Pusan Police Special Commander to call him in after he had finished his long life as a SWAT commander. The most urgent problem at the time was the absence of a sniper. After all the credible snipers went through the whole training, fatal shortcomings in various drills and operations were pointed out because there was no leader following them.

When the commander or his superiors are in such trouble, he is the first to appear at head of the commandos. He is innocent looking and has a solid physical strength to last for two or three days without sleeping. Even within SWAT, he has already become the best sniper. His main skill is being a sniper in helicopters. Unlike during a flat landing, it is not easy to open fire in a moving helicopter, and the case of a sniper in a long distance is a field that demands extremely sophisticated skills, because a small mistake can take away the lives of friendly or hostages. But in those difficult areas, he is so unique that he is unmatched. The ability to accurately hit targets 300 meters away from a moving helicopter makes him among the best of the best.
