The LFP586 is a handgun featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. It is available for use by the GIGN Recruits and all GIGN Operators.

Overview

The Model 586, is a six or seven-shot revolver manufactured by Smith and Wesson that chambers the .357 Magnum round. The Model 586 is essentially the same weapon as the Model 686, albeit with a blued steel construction, while the 686 has a stainless steel construction. The 586 typically has a shorter barrel than the 686 due to being directed for use by law enforcement.

In-game, designated as the LFP586, this revolver is ones of the strongest sidearms in terms of raw damage. With its 78 damage per shot, it easily outclasses most sidearms in the game. However, notable disadvantages include the inability to equip any kind of barrel attachment, and its high recoil kick.
