|Overview||Raven Shield||Lockdown||Vegas||Vegas 2||Siege|
The MP7A1 is a weapon featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas.
Story and Terrorist Hunt[edit | edit source]
The MP7A1 is unlocked by default in both Story Mode and Terrorist Hunt. Whenever the player tells his/her team to "go silent" (Attach suppressors), the characters Michael Walter and Jung Park will always pull out a suppressed MP7A1 equipped with a reflex scope. The weapon has a very high rate of fire, albeit not as fast as the MAC 11. It has a high magazine capacity of 40 rounds, making it the second highest capacity submachine gun. It is only second to the huge 50-round magazine of the P90. The weapon is extremely good at close quarters combat, due to its high rate of fire and relatively low recoil. Damage is also good for the weapon, although it sacrifices range for its higher capacity. Ammunition is a huge problem with this weapon, though, as terrorists never use this weapon in both game modes. The player has to watch their ammunition counter in both, so be careful when spraying and praying with it. It is always advised to refill ammunition for the weapon whenever the player comes across a supply cache in Story Mode. The sights are poor for the weapon, as the sights become extremely hard t acquire targets while firing in full automatic. To counter this poor statistic, a Reflex Scope or Rifle Scope is recommended.
Multiplayer[edit | edit source]
The MP7A1 is unlocked once the player reaches the Specialist rank in Multiplayer.
