Nest Tracking Protocol Guidelines:
Operator(s) will use a REACT pistol injector to insert an Autotracker within dormant Nests. Effective mapping requires multiple Nests to be tracked.
Caution: Targeted nest MUST be dormant. Once Nests are alerted they become agitated, making it impossible for the Operator to plant an Autotracker. Should any Nests implanted with trackers be destroyed, the Operator will lose this tracker.
Nest Tracking Protocol allows REACT scientists to monitor the Parasite's ever-evolving ecosystem and collect data on the network of Nests within the ecosystem.
Autotrackers provide valuable intel on locations, ecosystem and the incubation conditions of the Chimera Nests. Preliminary data indicates that these Nests provide a deeper function than simple Archaean germination sites.
Each Nest contains high concentrations of neurons, glial cells, neural stem cells and proteins. REACT research hypotheses suggest the Nests are acting as neural nodes. Each Nest provides functional connectivity from node-to-node to augment communication among the different variants.
