C4 IRL

Composition 4 (C4), is a plastic explosive composed of RDX, plastic binder, plasticizer, and a marker chemical to identify its source. It is 1.34 times as explosive as TNT and has been used since the 1960s when it was developed. C4 is often used in breaching obstacles or demolition of large structures.

Nitro Cell is a placeable explosive device featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. The device is a simple block of C4 wired to an old mobile phone, all held together by duct tape. When placed, it can be detonated at any time, making it ideal for ambushes. It can be equipped by the Recruit and the Operators Mute, Pulse, Kapkan, Bandit, Valkyrie, and Mira.

Nitro Cells are also very useful for eliminating shielded attackers such as Montagne, Blitz, Fuze, or the Recruit as the device can be thrown behind them. This bypasses their defense and can potentially kill anyone behind them as well. Another feature is its ability to stick to objects, allowing for crafty placement (Such as above doorways) to catch Attackers off guard.

Observant Attackers can disable the device by shooting it with any type of weapon, causing it to disappear in a puff of harmless smoke. In addition to this, poor placement can lead to the cell being destroyed by Bandit's Shock Wire. Finally, IQ can reveal the location of any placed Nitro Cell by using her unique Electronics Detector.

Nitro cell detonation deals a massive amount of damage over a moderate area, heavily damaging all players in their vicinity, if not killing the player outright depending on where it detonated and how much health was left before detonation has occurred. Also, getting hit directly by the Nitro Cell deals a small amount of damage.
