The Observation Blocker is a secondary gadget featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege that was introduced in the Operation Dread Factor expansion.[1]
Once deployed, the Observation Blocker will project a digital barrier screen that will block the line of sight of observation tools like the Drone or CCTV. This prevents players from seeing anything on the other side of the screen unless the gadget is destroyed or the drone moves past it. The gadget's digital barrier is only visible from observation tools and cannot be seen by Operators. This is useful for concealing any traps or fortifications in an area as well as Defender locations. Like other gadgets, it can be detected by IQ's Electronics Detector. It can also be destroyed with the EMP Grenade, explosives, or gunfire.
