Operation Blue Echo is the second mission in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Take-Down – Missions in Korea.
Mission Objective[]
After ATX abducted Colonel Smith, a hideout was found. In December of last year, a Japanese named Suzuki bought it through a paper company called 'YT Trading'. It was a abandoned factory that was used as a warehouse of Yakuza before the incident, and ATX and Suzuki were seen in contact with it. Raid the scene to annihilate terrorists and find the files to reveal the relationship between ATX and Yakuza.
Briefing[]
Cho Hyung-Jin - At the time of the operation at Doosan Tower, 550kg of ecstasy was being transferred from the Busan District Prosecutors' Office to the NIS. This drug was caught by an unknown informant and trying to bring the Yakuza organization called Ikeshita-gumi into the country, and the importation and the background were different from other events, so the investigation was carried out by the National Intelligence Service and for safety reasons, it was being transported to the underground bunker of the NIS. The planned transfer operations were things that were considered to be confidential except for those concerned, but Ikeshita-gumi's hitmen attacked the transport vehicle and took away the entire ecstasy that was being carried away and escaped. Unfortunately, five people were killed during this incident, and about 10 people were injured. This case is a case in which a organized crime responds directly to the state's governmental authority, so it is necessary to identify the whole situation and arrest the people involved.
John Clark - It is clear that Hamad has also left the Doosan Tower. After the incident, I checked the scene several times, but there was no person presumed to be Hamad. In addition to this case, we must arrest him in order to be held accountable for his crimes.
According to the rescued Colonel Smith, by listening to the road's pavement and surrounding sounds, he has moved about 2-3 hours away from the place where he was kidnapped, and it is highly likely that he finally arrived at the airport. The interior was like a factory or a warehouse, but it is not known exactly because they covered his eyes with a black towel. There, he was able to hear Japanese language occasionally, and he heard people who were supposed to be Japanese to listen to the ATX people in English, but the sound was so low that he could not understand the exact meaning.
On the basis of the statement of Colonel Smith, we are investigating remote factories and warehouses near Seoul. We also investigate the facts about the purchase transactions of Japan and the Middle East among the land transactions for the recent 2-3 years. I found a company called 'YT Trading' while I was searching for their company. The company was a paper company that had only been registered as a business, and the NIS, which tracked the land trading funds, found that Suzuki was involved in the background. Eventually, the abandoned factory was a place where Suzuki purchased a paper company called 'YT Trading' and used it as a warehouse for various items of Yakuza.
Mission Orders[]
There are Yakuza and a few ATX members in the factory, all of them armed. If you try to get inside, Suzuki is likely to be the first to destroy computer files. Therefore, you should quickly move to the central control room to prevent file corruption.
