Operation Lunar Eclipse is the fifth mission in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Take-Down – Missions in Korea.
Mission Objective[]
Choi Tae-ho, who is the acting local organizer of Ikeshita-gumi while operating an antiques dealership in Insa-dong, was selected as the main suspect and we strengthened his surveillance. It is often reported by our agents that he invites his own entourage to the villa to promote a connection with the Yakuza, or that some kind of plot is under way. In order to know Choi Tae-ho's true intentions, we need to install surveillance equipment. Install eavesdroppers and surveillance cameras in his drawing room and computer room where he often meets people.
Briefing[]
Cho Hyung-Jin: Thanks to your amazing efforts, the entire ATX crew has been wiped out, and as of today, the kidnapping case of Colonel Smith is officially closed. ATX, which was suffering from financial difficulties, was hired by Ikeshita, kidnapped Colonel Smith and carried out a terrorist attack at Doosan Tower just in time for ecstasy to be transported. The hitmen of the Ikeshida group, who were aiming for this gap, hijacked 550 kg of ecstasy that was being transported and escaped. There is still work to be done to arrest the Yakuza and retrieve the drugs, but it is very encouraging that all ATX members were arrested within a short period of time and that could improve the concentration of the investigation.
Kim Suk-won predicted that the Yakuza would try to escape with the help of a local organizer, so he provided information on about ten suspects. While investigating on this basis, the recent activities of Choi Tae-ho, who runs an antiques dealership, were suspicious and intensive monitoring was carried out. Choi Tae-ho had already been accused of smuggling several times, and in the process, rumors about the Yakuza were circulating, and he was also regularly monitored by the crime center. However, after noticing our movement, Choi Tae-ho hid in his own villa and, without revealing himself, seems to be working by calling his aides to the villa.
This operation is to install wiretapping devices and surveillance cameras in the computer room and drawing room to find out Choi Tae-ho's reclusive intentions and how to contact the Yakuza. The villa is not easily accessible as there are few people and security guards inside and outside the house, so please be extra careful not to be exposed to enemies.
John Clark: It was a series of incidents related to the kidnapping of Colonel Smith that brought the RAINBOW members here, but after completing the mission, negotiations were made with both US and South Korean governments over the timing of their withdrawal. However, even if the threat of ATX is over, considering the fact that terrorist threats from international organized crime groups still exist, it is decided to stay until all members of the Ikeshita group are arrested and the ecstasy is recovered. Therefore, we will participate together in all future operations.
The behavior of Kim Suk-won, who is protecting himself in a safe house, is changing recently. He's been asking about Takahashi's whereabouts since him entered the country, but does not answer our questions about the relationship between them two. Unlike before, he looks unstable so caution is required.
This operation is difficult to accomplish without being exposed to the enemy. As an operator executing the mission, refrain from unnecessary actions, even for your own safety. The computer room and drawing room are accessible only through the basement. The basement has a structure that makes it easy to hide and cover, but you have to be especially careful because of the large number of bodyguards.
Mission Orders[]

The computer room is on the second floor of the annex, and the only way to access it is through the underground passage. If you proceed without first deactivating the alarm, the alarm will be activated and you will be exposed to the enemy.
