The Phoenix Group has kidnapped Dr. Winston from her hotel. They've been tracked to the whaling ship Orca's Smile anchored in Southampton harbor. The terrorists have threatened to blow it up if a boarding attempt is made.

James Danko - Alpha Team, I'm happy to confirm that none of you were exposed to the contagion. Let's get you up to speed on what we know: First, the virus Phoenix is working with strongly resembles Ebola Brahma.
Control - The Ebola Brahma virus was discovered by Dr. Catherine Winston in the cattle population of West Africa. In 97% of cases, death occurs from total systemic collapse within 72 hours of first onset of symptoms. The incubation period is believed to be 14 days.
James Danko - Ebola Brahma is airborne. Until recently it was not believed that E.B. was infectious to humans. This is the latest report from Dr. Winston we received on the subject:

We've seen a few mutations that have allowed E.B. to jump the species boundary and infect humans. We're still trying to figure out if those mutations happened naturally or were the result of genetic engineering on the part of Phoenix. If it was Phoenix, you can conclude that they have access to some pretty high-powered equipment and know-how. If this new E.B. strain gets into the general population, it'll be like the Black Death on a global scale. A pandemic, hundreds of millions dead. In other words, this isn't just a virus -- it's a doomsday device. My team is studying the new strain as we speak. Once I get some results back I may be able to figure out how Phoenix managed to get hold of an agent like this.

We have good intel that the vessel is rigged to explode: if those aboard realize you've infiltrated, they may destroy it. Along with our best hope of understanding what Phoenix plans to do with Ebola Brahma.
