Operation Snake's Feather is the first mission in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Take-Down – Missions in Korea.

Mission Objective[]

Terrorists who claim to be members of ATX, an anti-American terrorist group in the Middle East, are taking over three floors of the Doosan Tower by force. On August 25th, they had taken Colonel Smith and two employees hostage. Crush them and rescue the detained hostages.

Briefing[]

Cho Hyung-Jin - I would say that it is the importance of this incident that other members of the unit are gathered together here. From now on, you have command and control over you, and this privilege is valid until a separate order is given. At the moment, ATX has been pushing daily for the withdrawal of US troops in the Middle East and East Asia as their demand. Exact intent is very likely to have other intentions as the investigation is over, as ATX has never shown an interest in East Asian issues and the demands are also a feasible political issue. But now that it is our highest priority to suppress them and safely rescue the hostages, we urge you to do the utmost until you completely eliminate enemies that threaten our national security.

John Clark - The ATX, which has abducted Colonel Smith and terrorized the Doosan Tower, was a terrorist organization that caused many bombings in Chicago in October. Hamad, known as the backbone of the incident, is a suspect under the wing of the CIA and is an intelligent man with very little traces left behind by his outstanding incentives and disguise. If the case is ATX's claim as they claim, this case is also very likely to be behind the scenes. If so, he could direct his men to commit suicide as in Chicago. Be especially careful of booby traps or bombs during operations.

Mission Orders[]

The team can infiltrate inside the building through the roof. The hostages are in detention on the 8th floor, but the exact location is not known. The bombs are all installed in two locations, which are operated via detonators.
