Operation Zero Light is the eighth mission in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Take-Down – Missions in Korea.
Mission Objective[]
The Yakuza, who were trying to use the submarine to extract ecstasy into the high seas, took over the Meteorological Institute and Lighthouse of Gadeokdo. Rescue the hostage and recover the ecstasy. At present, the sea is completely blocked by the police and the navy, so the Yakuza must be destroyed completely as there is no fear of escape.

Cho Hyung-Jin - It is clear that Choi Tae-ho has already planned to export ecstasy using submarines. Perhaps when our surveillance began, it seemed like we were already in the process of preparing for the completion of the plan. The hiding in the cottage was also an intention not to expose the plan, and the attempt to get out of the cottage and contact the Yakuza was not enough to hand over the documents.
A short note from Takahashi, asking for his family members' affection, and a memo, containing the ID and password of the mail that was used when contacting Kim Suk-won, were discovered in Chuncheon. Using the ID and password, we found an email saying that ecstasy will be transported via the submarine to the high seas, but we do not know the exact location and date.
Soon after launching the investigation based on this clue, we found out that the newly introduced tourism submarine was associated with Choi Tae-ho, and we began monitoring and formed a network by deploying marine police and navy in the nearby sea around Geoje Island. And the surrounding islands were docked with latent agents.
Then, yesterday at around 19 o'clock, I was informed that suspicious people got in the port and occupied the institute and the lighthouse by force. At 1 o'clock in the morning, we waited until now because the submarine did not move. We could not arrest the submarine officials for obvious reasons and no clue. However, the submarine was conducting a test sail that was not recorded in the preliminary operation report, and is currently moving near Gadeokdo. Now you have to work in cooperation with marine police and navies. First of all, we need to secure the hostages and completely eliminate the terrorists.
John Clark - When we were exposed to information that ecstasy was taken out through a submarine, we first thought about connecting it with Russia. It was a conspiracy scenario in which some corrupt Russian soldiers would move the submarine and escape through it. However, after confirming the facts through the CIA and NIS agents in charge of Russia, it was revealed that the possibilities were scarce and the scope of investigation had to be further expanded. In the meantime, some of the alleged accounts of Choi Tae-ho found a trace of the transfer of funds to a company that introduced a tourism submarine, and intensively monitored it. Mission Orders[]
Kim is confined to the third floor of the institute. Ecstasy is also in the same place, where terrorists and Sasamoto are also watching over there. There is a sniper on the lighthouse that will observe the team's behavior during the deployment.
