Sub-6

Template:Weapon The FN P90 is a Belgian designed 5.7x28mm Sub-Machine Gun, developed between 1986-1987 by Stéphane Ferrard at Fabrique Nationale de Herstal. The weapon was designed to be a compact Sub-Machine Gun for tank crews. The weapon’s name is an abbreviation of Project, and the number 90, which specifies a weapon system of the 1990s. It is notable for it's large capacity magazine, which is also interesting in that it is made of clear plastic, and it's unique round (mentioned above). The weapon, and special cartridge, were designed to meet NATO requirements of a new Personal Defense Weapon (PDW)that could better penetrate body armor.

In-Game

The P90 is a reasonable all around sub machinegun, performing well where SMGs are meant to be used, close range. Its recoil is low, power is reasonable, range is short, and rate of fire is high. Its built in reflex sight is usable, so a laser sight would be useful to complement its accuracy at range, But its damage at range is pitiful, so it will take a huge amount of ammo to take down one person at range.
