Makarov PMM
The Makarov or PM (Russian: Пистолет Макарова, Pistolet Makarova, English: Makarov's Pistol) is a semi-automatic pistol manufactured by the Izhevsk Mechanical Plant that chambers the 9x18mm Makarov round.
The most widely known variant, the PMM (Makarov's Pistol Modernized, Pistolet Makarova Modernizirovaniy) is a redisgn of the original PM. This was done to increase the cartridge load which resulted in an increase of muzzle velocity and generation of 25% more gas pressure. The Makarov PMM has other minor modifications such as an improved hand grip as well as threaded grooves in the chamber.[1]
The PMM is categorized as a handgun in the Rainbow Six universe. The PMM only appears in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege.
