The RPG-7 (Russian: РПГ-7, Ручной Противотанковый Гранатомёт, or "Hand-Held Anti Tank Grenade Launcher") is a portable, reusable, shoulder-launched anti-tank rocket launcher designed in 1961 that is commonly used in warfare as a cheap anti-armor weapon.

There is a variant of the RPG-7 in the Rainbow Six universe. The variant is the RPG-7V2.

  • The RPG-7V2 is a further developmment of the RPG-7, which allows it to use more types of ammunition, and comes equipped with a UP-7V sighting deviced attached to the weapon.

The RPG-7 is a rocket launcher featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Lockdown.

Overview[]

The RPG-7 is not available to the player to use in the story mode, but is usable in the multiplayer portion of the game. In the PC version of the game, the RPG-7 is used against the player in various missions by the South African rebels in the mission South Africa, by Faisal Amidan's militia in the mission Algeria, by the New Freedom Army in the mission Amsterdam, and by the Global Liberation Front in the mission Castle. Models of the RPG-7 can be found in the missions Distillery and Estate, with models of the RPG-7V2 being found in the mission Estate amongst nearby warheads.

Siege[]

Various low-detailed RPG-7s and their warheads can be seen in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, stored inside the Arsenal Room on the map Club House.
