It's finally here, the team deathmatch mode we've all been waiting for! Time to frag out to your heart's desire. 2 teams of 5 battle it out, frag after frag in an attempt to gain their team a total of 75 kills. If you don't reach the kill limit within 5 minutes, Rainbow Six Siege - Team Deathmatch Tips the team with the most kills automatically wins. If that isn’t exciting enough, then what about the fact that you can pick any operator on both attack OR defense outside of Blitz, Montagne or Clash because well, they’re shield operators.

You'll get to throw down on one of three maps. The first is Villa! Known by many as a strong competitive map, it also boasts 3 different floors of opportunity for you to be able to master your long and short-range engagements.

Then the second is Favela. This map provides you a little bit of a different environment to that of Villa, giving you the opportunity to practice your short range engagements as well as vertical prowess around the many staircases!

The last is Theme Park, where you’ll get to run across the entire map like it's your personal playground. A nice mixture of short and long range engagements makes Theme Park, yet another ideal team deathmatch map!

It's not only your weapon skill that will be tested, but you will get access to all the secondary gadgets outside of the C4 and Claymore. Many people run the impact grenades so they can open unsuspecting angles on their opponents around the map, but you could also practice using a stun grenades too.

Now, remember when I said that you could pick ANY operator outside of the shield operators? Well not only that, but every time you die, you can REPICK another operator so that you can practice all different weapons, operator speeds and fire rates. Yeah, this Team Deathmatch has it all. The great thing about team deathmatch is that you can hone in on so many different skills or just simply warm up! Many are using team deathmatch to practice their reaction speed or crosshair awareness, for example.

Aiming at head height as you move around the map will increase your accuracy. Others are warming up their reflexes before jumping into ranked. It is also a great way to identify if your sensitivity is too low or too high, especially if you notice yourself unable to flick to your desired location or you find yourself over flicking! If, however, you simply want to top the leaderboards, then your best bet is to check every corner, listen for footsteps carefully, and move around the map. In a way that will enable you to respond to all movement no matter what. Good luck out there, operator!
