A reflector sight, commonly refered to as a reflex sight, is a type of red dot sight that allows the user to look through a partially reflecting glass element and see an illuminated projection of an aiming point or some other image superimposed on the field of view. Reflector sights employ some sort of "reflector" to allow the viewer to see the infinity image and the field of view at the same time, either by bouncing the image created by lens off a slanted glass plate, or by using a mostly clear curved glass reflector that images the reticle while the viewer looks through the reflector.

Since the reticle is at infinity it stays in alignment with the device to which the sight is attached regardless of the viewer's eye position, removing most of the parallax and other sighting errors found in simple sighting devices.

Reflex Sights are attachments featured in several installments of the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Franchise.

Vegas[]

"This fiber-optic scope provides a clear aiming point for all lighting conditions."
— In-game description

The Reflex Scope is a weapon attachment featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas. It replaces the default iron sight and provides a better line of sight for players to engage enemies from afar. The Reflex Scope can be equipped with any primary weapon in-game.

Vegas 2[]

"This fiber-optic scope provides a clear aiming point for all lighting conditions."
— In-game description

The Reflex Scope is a weapon attachment featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2. Since Vegas 1 and 2 share the same engine and models, it appears in the same configuration as its Vegas 1 counterpart. It replaces the default iron sight and provides a better line of sight for players to engage enemies from afar. The Reflex Scope can be equipped with any primary weapon in-game, just like Vegas 1.

Shadow Vanguard[]

" A reflex sight that superimposes a reticle (a red dot) on the field of view for greater aiming precision. The reticle is not fixed on the focal line - as commonly and incorrectiy understood - and can move all over the glass, allowing a dynamic precision."
— In-game description

The Red Dot Sight is a weapon attachment featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard.

"Replaces iron sights with 1x triangular reticle sight."
— In-game description

The Reflex Sight is an optical attachment featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. It features a triangular green reticle and replaces the default iron sights to provide a better line of sight for players to engage enemies from afar. As of now, the Reflex Sight is the most widely available sight option in Siege, with the only primary weapons incapable of equipping it being the Marksman Rifles. Four variants of the Reflex Sight are available: NATO, Russian, MRS, and Vintage.

All variants of the Reflex Sight feature relatively unobstrusive and small casings. They allow for the most peripheral vision while in ADS in exchange for a smaller sight picture. When aiming down a Reflex Sight, the gun aims at the upper tip of the green triangle (or arrow) which is where all shots will land.

Extraction[]

"Replaces iron sights with 1x triangular reticle sight."
— In-game description

The Reflex Sight is an optical attachment featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction. Unlike the Red Dot Sight, it provides a better line of sight for players to engage enemies from afar.

As with its counterpart in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, the sight is available in four versions: NATO, Russian, Vintage, and MRS.
