The Rush Pistol is a gadget featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction. It was introduced in the Crisis Event, Nightmare Fog.
The gadget was unlocked by completing the Nest Removal Crisis Event Study which requires players to perform Takedowns on 80 Nests collectively as a squad. After June 2nd, 2022, the gadget can only be unlocked in the in-game store for 10 REACT Credits.
Overview[]
The gadget functions in a similar manner as Doc's Stim Pistol. Rather than boosting health, the Rush Pistol allows players to shoot themselves or other players to temporarily boost speed and gain invulnerability. The buff lasts 15 seconds and can be effective when bombarded with enemy attacks or when taking damage from 100% exposure to the fog produced by the Toxic Tree. The Rush Pistol features two shots which can be resupplied at REACT Tech cases.
