Trivia

  • Throughout the Rainbow Six series, only the model with the foldable stock is used. since Vegas, however, the butt hook of the weapon, which could be used to fire the shotgun in one-hand, was removed.
  • Though the gun has a dual-mode, like with its successor, the SPAS-15, as well as the Benelli M3, it's practically never utilized in any of games. The SPAS-12 is either just pump-action, which is in Raven Shield, Lockdown and Vegas 1 and 2, or semi-automatic in Siege. Curiously, the Rogue Spear version of the gun can be used in automatic or semi-automatic.
