Overview Siege

Aside from the two variants of the ACOG sight, two variants of the telescopic sight are featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege.

Telescopic A[]

"It is a high magnification scope."
— In-game description

The Telescopic A scope is a weapon attachment featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, introduced in the Operation Shadow Legacy expansion.[1]

As with other optic sights, it replaces the default iron sight and provides a 3.5x magnification for players to view through. Unlike the Telescopic B, the Telescopic A scope features a much slimmer frame. This advantage is offset by a blind spot on the top left of the scope.

The Telescopic A scope is primarily available on both Assault and Marksman Rifles, as well as most LMGs in the game. It can also be used with the only three shotguns that currently fire slugs, being the TCSG12, ACS12, and the BOSG12.2 respectively.

Previously known as the "Scoped 2x", the Telescopic A is now used as a 3.5x with the same housing. The scope was also changed to only be available on Marksmen Rifles on attack, so Tubarão and Aruni do not have access to them on the AR-15.50 and Mk 14 EBR respectfully.

Scope 3.0x[]

"Provides a 3.0x magnification for long distance engagements."
— In-game description

The Scope 3.0x is a weapon attachment featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, introduced in the Operation Shadow Legacy expansion.[2]

As with other optic sights, it replaces the default iron sight and provides a 3.0x magnification for players to view through. This allows players to easily aim at targets from a farther distance than all the other available sights, with the caveat that recoil becomes harder to control, and shooting at close-distance targets becomes harder.

The Standard Scope 3.0x (Formerly the Scope) was initially introduced in Operation Burnt Horizon, exclusively for the M249 and M249 SAW. Later in Operation Shadow Legacy, the Scope was reworked into the current Scope 3.0x, featuring a new reticle, a slightly thicker casing, and a riser to prevent obstruction of vision. The Standard Scope 3.0x is currently only available for Marksman Rifles.

The .44 Mag Semi-Auto variant was introduced in Operation Wind Bastion, exclusive to the .44 Mag Semi-Auto handgun. This scope is pre-attached and cannot be modified.
