"Lightweight 9mm carbine that offers selective fire. Mags extended to 40-round cap."
— In-game description

The Scorpion EVO 3 A1 is a submachine gun featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. It was introduced in the Operation Blood Orchid expansion pack and is available for use by the Operator Ela.

Overview

Scorpion EVO 3 A1 is a select-fire submachine gun manufactured by Česká zbrojovka Uherský Brod. The A1 variant features a select fire switch, giving the operator the choice of "safe", semi-automatic, three-round burst, or fully automatic fire.

In-game, the Scorpion EVO 3 A1 has a high RPM with a large magazine capacity but mediocre single shot damage. Within its optimum range, the Scorpion EVO 3 A1 can take out Light Armored Operators in 4 body shots, Medium Armored Operators with 5 body shots, and Heavy Armored Operators with 6 body shots. This weapon has a lot of potential at close to medium range thanks to its rate of fire. However, is unsuitable for long range engagements due to its unpredictable recoil.

Pros

  • High rate of fire
  • High magazine capacity

Cons

  • Unpredictable horizontal recoil
  • High vertical recoil
  • Low damage per shot
  • Weak damage dropoff
