Serial Scan is an objective featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction. It tasks players with holding three areas around a subzone for a designated amount of time.
Overview[]
Players are first tasked with locating the REACT Catalyst Emitter in the subzone. Afterwards, they must interact with it to reveal the location of the first zone. Stepping in the zone with start the scan and will alert all enemies in the subzone of the player's location. As such, it is advised to fortify an area before stepping into the zone. Successfully scanning the zone will reveal the location of the next zone. A total of three zones must be scanned in order to complete the objective.
If playing with other players, scanning speed will increase as more players are standing inside of the zone. Should all players leave a zone before scanning is complete, they will have thirty seconds to reenter the zone or the objective will fail.
