The Six Invitational is the annual Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege esports championship tournament hosted by Ubisoft Entertainment in Montreal.
The event hosts sixteen teams in a Quarter Final, Semi Final, and Grand Final Format. The Quarter Finals divides each team into four groups of four in a best of three double elimination bracket. The eight remaining teams will qualify for the Quarter Finals which is a best of five single elimination bracket. The Grand Final is a best of five between the last two remaining teams. The winner will be awarded the title of champion and a large cash prize.

Twitch[]
Certain items will be available through a Twitch Drop event, where watching the Six Invitational event earns viewers exclusive items in the game. Charms are unlocked for watching for a specific number of accumulated hours during certain timeframes, and a bundle was randomly awarded to steamers and viewers.

The Six Invitational 2017 was the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege championship tournament for the 2016 esports season. The first iteration of the annual Six Invitational, it took place from February 3rd to 5th, 2017 in Montreal, Canada. With a $100,000 USD prize pool, it was won by Continuum. The event also saw the introduction of Alpha Packs to the game.
2018[]
The Six Invitational 2018 was the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege championship tournament for the 2017 esports season. The second iteration of the annual Six Invitational, it took place from February 13th to 18th, 2018 in Montreal, Canada. With a $500,000 USD prize pool, it was won by PENTA Sports. The event also saw the reveal of the limited-time Outbreak gamemode.

The Six Invitational 2019 was the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege championship tournament for the 2018 esports season. The third iteration of the Six Invitational, it took place from February 11th to 17th, 2019. With a $2,000,000 USD prize pool, it was won by G2 Esports. The Road To S.I. 2019 event launched on January 25th and concluded on February 18th, 2019.
The event also saw the release of The Hammer and the Scalpel cinematic short on February 16th and the announcement of the Operation Phantom Sight expansion on February 17th.

The fourth iteration of the Six Invitational, it took place from February 14th to February 16th, 2020. With a record $3,000,000 prize pool, the event was won by Spacestation Gaming, who defeated Ninjas in Pyjamas 3-2 in the grand final. The Road To S.I. 2020 event launched on January 15th and concluded on February 16th alongside the Six Invitational.

The Six Invitational 2021 was the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege championship tournament for the 2020 esports season. The fifth iteration of the Six Invitational was held in Paris from May 11th, 2021 to May 23rd, 2021 and was won by Ninjas in Pyjamas.
The prize pool was made up of 30% of revenue from the Operation Neon Dawn Battle Pass. The pool was capped at a maximum of $3 million USD with any additional proceeds being used to improve esports in Year 6.[2][3]
The Road To S.I. 2021 event launched on January 21st, 2021 and concluded on February 22nd, 2021.[4]

The Six Invitational 2022 was the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege championship tournament for the 2021 esports season. The sixth iteration of the Six Invitational was is set to be held in Stockholm, Sweden from February 8th, 2022 to February 20th, 2022.
The prize pool is made up of 30% of revenue from the High Calibre Battle Pass. The pool was capped at a maximum of $3 million USD with any additional proceeds being used to improve esports in Year 6.[5][6]
The Road To S.I. 2022 event launched on February 1st, 2022 and concluded on February 21st, 2022.[7]

- The Six Invitational 2021 was originally scheduled to take place from February 19th, 2021 to February 21st, 2021 in Montreal. With the emergence of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the event was relocated to Paris, France. On February 4th, 2021, Ubisoft announced that the event would be postponed indefinitely due to logistical challenges associated with France's border closure to all non-EU citizens as a result of the pandemic.[8]
