The Saritch (Russian: Сарыч) is a concept bullpup rifle. It was designed by design school student Andrei Ovsyannikov (as a part of his graduation design project) as a modular civilian carbine, with semi-automatic fire and 10-round magazines. Military versions were also conceived with 30 round magazines and automatic fire. However, nothing really came out of the idea and no functional models exist, as the only model of the concept was a mock-up.[1][2]

The weapon is featured in several installments of the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Franchise. It is designated as the Spear .308.

  • Subpar damage output

Trivia[]

  • In Siege, the Spear .308's previously stated rate of fire was inaccurate at 780 RPM, while its actual rate of fire in-game is closer to 700 RPM.[4][5] This has since been fixed.
