The SuperNova is a shotgun featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. It was introduced in the Operation Red Crow expansion pack and is available for use by both SAT Operators.
Overview
The Benelli SuperNova is a pump-action shotgun manufactured by Benelli. It's based on the Benelli Nova, which was renowned for its Technopolymer one piece frame.[1]
In-game, this particular pump-action shotgun stands out as a weapon that doesn't necessarily have better damage than the semi-automatic designs, being on-par with the M1014 in terms of damage per pellet, but has the best recoil control out of all the shotguns available. Overall, the SuperNova is a decent pump-action, but is the weakest in terms of raw power compared to the likes of the M590A1, SG-CQB, M870 and the ITA12L, alongside its compact counterpart. It's also peculiarly slower than other pump-actions, making distance a key factor to keep in mind during engagements.
