"Semi-automatic shotgun with a 10-round magazine. Optimal for CQB and is suppressor capable."
— In-game description

The TCSG12 is a shotgun featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, introduced in the Operation Wind Bastion expansion. It is available for use by Kaid and Goyo.

Overview[]

The TCSG12, like the BOSG.12.2 and the ACS12, fires single slugs that have a long range and are capable of headshots. Its lower damage is made up for the magazine size and attachment options, making this gun comparable to Marksman Rifles in practical usage. Typical of shotguns, the TCSG12 has somewhat high vertical recoil, but the random spread is minimal. The TCSG12 can take down all armor types within two shots at it's effective range.

The TCSG12 features high damage potential akin to the BOSG.12.2, being able to destroy unreinforced hatches in a few shots; the actual damage potential depends on the number of hatch "beams" the slug goes through, so a flat angle minimizes the number of shots needed. It is also capable of destroying the "wooden beams" in double-layered walls if properly aimed.

Pros[]

  • High damage per shot
  • High destruction/penetration

Cons[]

  • High vertical recoil kick per shot
  • Low magazine capacity
