- "Semi-automatic shotgun with a 10-round magazine. Optimal for CQB and is suppressor capable."
— In-game description
The TCSG12 is a shotgun featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege in the Operation Wind Bastion expansion pack. It is available for use by the GIGR Operator Kaid.
Overview
Like the BOSG.12.2, the TCSG12 fires single slugs that have a long range and are capable of headshots. Its lower damage is made up by the larger magazine size and attachment options, making this gun comparable to the Marksman Rifles in practical usage. Typical of shotguns, the TCSG12 has high vertical recoil, but the random spread is minimal.
The TCSG12 features high damage potential akin to the BOSG.12.2, being able to destroy unreinforced hatches in a few shots; the actual damage potential depends on the number of hatch "beams" the slug goes through, so a flat angle minimizes the number of shots needed. Also like the BOSG.12.2, it can destroy wooden "beams" in double-layered walls if properly aimed.
