}} Team Deathmatch, also known as Team Sharpshooter is a gamemode featured in several installments of the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Franchise. Solo versions of the mode are known as Deathmatch and Sharpshooter.

Past Installments[]

Team Deathmatch is featured in some form across six installments in the series. The gamemode pits teams of sixteen players against one another as they fight to obtain the most amount of kills before the time limit expires. If a player dies, they will respawn randomly around the map.

Deathmatch, also known as Team Deathmatch is an Arcade gamemode featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, introduced in the Demon Veil expansion.[1][2] The gamemode was originally available in the Deathmatch Playlist but was later merged with the Arcade playlist in the Operation Dread Factor expansion.[3]

Overview[]

Two teams of five players to obtain the most amount of kills in seven minute and thirty second matches. The first team to obtain 90 kills or have the most kills when the timer expires will be declared the winner.

All owned Operators are available on both teams except Blitz, Montagne, and Clash. Contrary to other gamemodes, Team Deathmatch allows more than one player to use the same Operator. Operators may be changed in the spawn menu. Access to Operator abilities and gadgets are restricted, except for Glaz's Scope. Additionally, all secondary gadgets are available except Nitro Cells and Claymores.

  • Each match is 7.5 minutes long
  • Respawning is allowed
  • No Preparation Phase

  • The Deathmatch playlist was originally called Warm-Up and was initially added to the Test Server during the High Calibre expansion.
  • Before the gamemode was merged with the Arcade playlist, it required teams to obtain 75 kills to win and matches were played in five minutes.
