I recently added the rest of the in-game bio for Sledge and Mute into their wikia pages, and i noticed that you had reverted them. Why was this done? Previously, the biography section of their pages followed what was written in the in-game bio, word to word, but did not include the 3 other sections, which are quite relevant in my opinion. I added these three sections, which are the operator's training, relevant experience and notes section. The information in these 3 sections are not listed anywhere else on the page, and they are relevant. If you do not find this information relevant to the page, thats fine, but i, and im sure many others like me, do find this information to be quite relevant. And how are the "Quotes", "Psyhological Profile", and "Trivia" sections relevant, if the information i added, that is directly from the in-game bio, is not relevant?
Your explanation was that the information is already on the page. Where in the page does it say Sledge took part in Operation Telic for example? Nowhere. Now, excuse me if i sound rude, you are moderating this for free, i know that, but to me it seems you just took a quick look, noticed two or three things that are also mentioned in the bio that was already in the page, ignoring all the other relevant information, the fact that that is how its displayed in-game and that not including 2/3 of an operator's degrees in the training section, just because its already mentioned, wouldnt make sense, and would lead to a lot of confusion.
They were primarily reverted because of the interviews. Both pages already have them under device evaluation. As for the training info, it should either go in the bio itself or in trivia rather than its own section.
But why did you revert them, instead of just cutting out the parts you find irrelevant? I also added the rest of the main bio of Sledge to the page, that the one who wrote it in the wikia, seems to have accidentally missed. You reverted that too. Thats just lazy work. And no, i did not notice the device evaluation in the loadout section. I apologize about that. Also, as i said, you cant put the training info into the bio, as the bio is word-to-word from in-game. And if you think the training info is more suited to the trivia, then why didnt you just move it into the trivia section then, instead of just deleting it?
While we used to have the bios verbatim on the wiki, that is no longer the case. The in-game bios leave out a lot of info about the Operators so we no longer do that. Instead their info is spread throughout the article. Info that details their personality or skills goes in the Psychological Profile section, etc. I had planned to go and reimplement the info you added later today after updating the new Operator pages. The revert was only a temporary fix to make the pages conform with the others for the time being. Make no mistake that all of that info is relevant.
