Operation Black Ice was the first free expansion released for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. Ubisoft later announced that the expansion's release would be delayed to February 2016. Operation Black Ice added two new Operators from the Joint Task Force 2 CTU, including new weapons, abilities, and gameplay upgrades. Operation Black Ice was superseded by Operation Dust Line on May 10, 2016.
