Operation Brutal Swarm is the twenty-sixth expansion for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. It introduces a new operator, the return of a fan-favorite map, and various gameplay improvements[1]
It was revealed on August 21st, 2022 and was made available on the Test Server on August 22nd, 2022. The expansion was released for owners of the Battle Pass on September 6th, 2022 and became available worldwide on September 13th, 2022.[2]

Maps[]
- Stadium Bravo
- Map ban selection increased to 5. Maps will be chosen randomly from those that are not banned.
- Tactical Map displays locations of the found objective or the location of all possible objectives if they haven't been found. Spawn point can be selected by hovering over spawn icon.
Gadgets[]
- Impact EMP Grenade
- Operators now have third secondary gadget option.
- Rook Armor plates grant Withstand ability in DBNO.
Dokkaebi.
- Dead operators are affected by Dokkaebi's Logic Bomb. It cannot be interrupted while dead.
Attachments[]
- Muzzle Brake and Flash Hiders are now available on all weapons.
- Vertical Grip, Angled Grip, Extended Barrel, and Sights are available on more weapons.
- Suppressors no longer have a damage penalty.
- Recoil separated between PC and Console. Further changes will be tailored to the respective platform.
Sanctions[]
- Active Penalities can be checked in Reputation Penalties submenu.
- New Text Chat penality that will automatically mute offender messafw to other players.
- Cheaters can be reported in Match Replay

Even a well-planned infiltration leaves a trail, and they left a trail of blood. One I can follow. They’re already wounded. Strike right and you’ll take the fight out of them. I’ll find who. I’ll find why. And I won’t stop until the job is done. If you make yourself an obstacle, I have no problem removing you.

The expansion features its own Battle Pass. It was released on September 6th, 2022 and will be available until December 5th, 2022. It is composed of 100 tiers across a Free and Premium track. Each tier rewards players with exclusive customization items, Alpha Packs, Bravo Packs, currency packs, and boosters for a total of 135 rewards.

Trivia[]
- The expansion was formally announced on February 20th, 2022 during the Six Invitational 2022.[3]
- During the reveal of Operation Vector Glare, it was announced that the Singaporean map for Y7S3 would be released in Season 4 to give it more development time. Stadium was introduced in the expansion as a permanent addition to compensate for this.
