Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege is an upcoming game in the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six series.
Gameplay
Siege is a first-person tactical shooter that includes single-player, multiplayer, and cooperative modes. It's powered by Realblast Destruction, enabling destruction for next-gen consoles and high-end computers.
The game will not feature the cover system used in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas.
Multiplayer
The first game mode announced was Hostage Rescue at E3 2014. It pits two "asymmetric" teams against each other in a fight to secure the hostage.
Classes
The multiplayer Rainbow classes are as follows: Pointman: carries a big riot shield and a pistol, with the other two selectable Rainbow classes being the high-firepower Assaulter: carries high-powered weaponry Breacher: carries equipment based around destruction.
Development
It was announced at E3 2014 with gameplay footage from multiplayer.
